Samuel L. Penzi, 30, found his final peace on Oct. 28, 2017.

Samuel is survived by his parents, Louis and Lori Penzi.

Sam was an avid skier, golfer, basketball enthusiast and, most recently hiker, as he and his mom explored the Whitefish Legacy Trails with his dog, Yogi.

He graduated from Whitefish High School in 2006 and received his degree from University of Montana in 2013, in elementary education. Sam was pursing continuing education at Flathead Valley Community College and substitute taught at School District No. 5.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Shepherd’s Hand Clinic.

Sam would often say, “It’s just a ride.” He is at peace on this ride.

No services are planned at this time.
