They moved to Shelby, Montana, for 10 years and then lived for a short time in California, before moving to Kalispell where Marvin worked for the post office until his death in 1976. Lillian worked at the Valley Bank for a few years but retired to become a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; her parents; her five siblings, Helen Dyrdahl, Joe Svien, Olga Ostenaa, Marion Knudson and Ralph Svien; her two nieces, Kelly Knudson and Marlys (Dyrdahl) Lunde; and nephew, DeWayne Ostenaa.

She is also survived by three nieces, Beverly (Dyrdahl) Hallburg, Debbie (Svien) Relaz and Lois Ostenaa; and two nephews, James Dyrdahl and Ron Svien.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 6, at the First Presbyterian Church in Kalispell. Lillian’s final resting place will be at a later date at Our Savior’s Cemetery in McIntosh.
