Hot Mama, there will be seats available to students for $35. They are bleacher seats and do not include dinner. You have to understand that this is a fundraiser for our school. It's VERY expensive to go there and they are trying to defray some of the expense for Stillwater families. Very excited for Craig who has been working on this and praying about it for a LONG time. So glad prayers were answered.

Thank you Jean. I agree with you!! Im just disappointed that they are charging $125. Sounds selfish of the School if you ask me. Its sad because my child looks up to him and would love to meet him and get his Tebow jersey signed but we cannot afford $125.

I think its kinda cool he will take the time to come to our little valley, to speak of his faith. His story is pretty good, and its nice that he's solid as a rock in his views. Considering how often views change these days, especially.

Cordwood, you are DEAD wrong. the nfl.com website often has footage of his press conferences (postgame), and he ALWAYS thanks Jesus Christ, win OR lose.

Tebow's view is that God does not care who wins the game. Listen to his prayers on NFL mic'd up, or listen to his answers on this specific question--he says God isn't concerned with that. He prays that he is able to honor and glorify God win or lose, and that his teammates do not get hurt.

He gets asked this question A LOT. he cares far more about his testimony than he does the does the score.

He does want to win though, no doubt about that.

My guess is he doesn't accept a speaking fee or he donates it. I'm not one of his groupies but expect it will be a good event and for good causes. Good for him.

Much cooler was Shaq's visit, wherein he walked into the Bigfork HS gym, unannounced, and shot baskets with whomever was there at the time. No media coverage, and a once in a lifetime experience for the kids involved. Tebow's visit will be fun, I'm sure, but not near as smooth as 'Ol Shaq.

What does a celebrity like this charge to talk about god and football and fame?

It's curoius - he thanks god when he wins, but doesn'y mention him/her when he loses. On days when the Broncos lose does god love the other team more than Tim and his teammates? If someone attending the banquet could ask him about that I'd be most appreciative. I'd ask him myself, but can't afford a $125 seat at the table.
