In the Wild West, poker was played with silver dollars, but in modern-day Lincoln County, it’s apparently being played with silver mines.

The Montanore mine project near Libby faces what could be its largest obstacle yet after a mysterious company bought two controversial claims on top of the Libby Creek adit. That site is a critical access to possibly 230 million ounces of silver and nearly 2 billion pounds of copper.

Can this get any uglier? Having mining interests fighting over the spoils that sit beneath the Cabinet Mountains Wilderness. Whether Revett, Mines Management, or Optima, I can guarantee that mining the wilderness will be opposed with every available resource.

The people of Libby are going to have a field day with this!

This is NOT what Libby needs! I guess if there is money to be made, people will with try and find a way to do so...but Libby needs a mine and the associated jobs. Not more legal posturing and wrangling from individuals with dubious morals.

First off i would like to ask the staff if Ryan Murray did any checking into this Frank Duval? From what i gathered Frank Duval is notorious for starting companys and running them so poorly that they cost the taxpayers millions in cleanup costs also numerous operations he has been involved with have filed CHAPTER 11 BANKRUPT.
