The Kalispell Planning Board on Tuesday night will consider a zoning change for 17.7 acres of undeveloped land at the northeast corner of West Reserve Drive and Stillwater Road.

Mark Owens, with Owl Corporation, is asking the city to change the land’s zoning from RA-1 residential apartment and R-3 residential to RA-2 residential apartment and office.

As a trustee of West Valley school, I would like the voters to take a look at this, more construction of offices and apartments in the West Valley school mean 2 things, more taxable value to the school which means less taxes the West Valley residents have to pay to the school and apartments mean more kids begin added to the already over crowded buildings. The school is in need of a YES vote on the school bond. Please remember to vote.
