The Flathead City-County Health Department warned recently of reports of people contracting swimmer’s itch (cercarial dermatitis) from local shallow waters.

The condition results from contact with parasite larvae in the water.

"I am surprised they did not offer this as a solution" They also didn't include medical marijuana which really surprises me because it reduces the urge to scratch, ha, ha, ha.

If you want a for sure way to get rid of the stuff, wash your entire body in Selsun Blue dandruff shampoo, weird I know. But for 20 years that is what I have used and it kills the parasites and hence the itching stops. I am surprised they did not offer this as a solution, all us flathead laker's know this cure. You should also immediately dry your entire body off when you get out of the water and shower as soon as you are able.
