Isn't this awesome, pat Glacier High and its administration on the back....this was first drug arrest this year. I mean we have been in school a whole three weeks now and this is the first bust!!!!!! Does he get a special ribbon for being #1????

As for the football players.. it will be interesting how they sweep this under the rug. You cannot trust much that comes out of Schottles office.

Prayers to the students and their families who were assulted. Be strong and know alot of people are praying for you to give your families strength through this horrible ordeal.

I have two questions about this incident on the GHS football bus.
First, where were the coaches while this was going on. There are at least four coaches that are present at freshmen games, how did they not know something was going on.
Second, if it was a girl that reported this I would assume she was a manager for the team. After what happened last year with the sexual act between a girl manager and a player from Glacier, also at the back of a travel bus I would think that the school would have put some rules into place about these girls staying in the front of the bus with the coaches.
This very well could have been a sexual assault against one of these girls and the coaches would not of known this either. There seems to be a serious lack of leadership in the Glacier football program. Winning is important but lessons learned from participation are just as or more important. I think the school needs to look at cleaning house in the whole program from head coach on down.

bravesfn, do you really think that the DI are "fans" of a high school team?

A least it's not Flathead High school/Football Team in the Headlines these past few weeks This Time! I am glad it's Glacier/Football team! It's times that The Daily Inter Lake stop being biased toward the High schools! Did you hear that a Glacier kid brought pot to the Football camp? Did you also hear about the Glacier Manager and the Football Player who were removed because of Sexual/Inappropriate misconduct on the ride home form a game last Year! OF COURSE NOT Because everybody at the Intel rake are Glacier Fans and they do no Wrong!

all kinds of trouble at the new school, must be a slum school, reflects on how great it is run by overpaid underworked staff

Some will say because this happened between teammates...it's just boys will be boys. Since there is a no hazing policy, and a parent is upset, this is now called bullying. But if this happened on a regular school bus where a group of students overpowered other smaller students the word used would be assault, not hazing. If this had been a group of males overpowering a smaller female (substitute with smaller male) it would be considered a sexual assault (attempted penetration) and the boys would be in juv'y lock-up. But because it happened between teammates......well, boys will be boys..........
