Law roundup: Tunnel dweller threatens to beat up teens

A woman hanging out in the pedestrian tunnel underneath the bypass reportedly yelled at high schoolers that she was going to beat them up. She was wearing a black hoodie, sweatpants and white shoes.

A housekeeper allegedly found a scale and a baggie containing white powder on it in a room. Kalispell Police Department picked up the items for destruction.

Mailbox slots were purportedly “torn open.” A postman allegedly told the woman who called the police he just forgot to lock the boxes.

Someone on the second floor at a location alleged that an aggressive 47-year-old man wearing a bright red T-shirt got in their face while they told him to stay away and asked officers to advise him he was no longer welcome The confrontation was over his refusal to pay for prints.

A woman at a park reportedly thought a middle-aged man wearing a hat and a gray hoodie was following her and “continuously watching her” and children playing before going to a different area. 

Two homeless men were allegedly punching each other near a camper van by a visitor’s center and gazebo. Medical assistance was requested for a cut finger. 

A woman and her boyfriend allegedly got into a verbal argument and he punched and broke a glass.

Officers reminded a man yelling through a megaphone about disorderly conduct rules. His volume reportedly made it impossible for employees at a nearby business to take customer’s orders when he stood on the same side of the street as the business.
