Glacier golfers sweep Whitefish Triangular
WHITEFISH – Glacier swept the team titles at the Whitefish Triangular Tuesday, as well as medalist honors at the meet, held at Whitefish Lake Golf Club.
Chloe Tanner fired an 82 for girls medalist, and Trevor Cunningham edged Tyler Avery for boys medalist, carding 69 strokes. Avery had 71.
Stella Jaffe of Whitefish was the second place girl, shooting 96. Flathead’s McKinlie Murer was third, and Kenna Sandler of Glacier was next.
Whitefish’s Johnny Nix was the third place boy, and Trey Engellant of Glacier was next in fourth.
Flathead’s Tyler Williams and Whitefish’s Billy Smith were just outside the top five with 78 strokes.
