Legion: Mariners sweep A Mavericks
DuMont hit an RBI triple in the first inning, an RBI single in the third and broke a 7-7 tie with his second double of the game, which the Mariners won 12-7.
Espn Fisher picked up the win, throwing four innings of solid relief. He allowed five hits and a walk, and fanned six. He and Xavier Fisher had three hits each, with Espn driving in two and Xavier scoring three times. DuMont scored four runs.
This came after Mission Valley downed the A Mavs 7-1 in the opener.
In that game Wyatt Wadsworth’s three-run double in the first inning set the tone; DuMont hit an RBI double in the fourth and Alex Muzquiz had an RBI double in the second and tripled and scored in the sixth. Dylan Davis and Cole Wadsworth combined on a five-hitter; Wadsworth took over in the fifth and allowed one hit and three walks, striking out five; Davis allowed four hits and two walks, and fanned four.
