Officers with the Kalispell Police Department responded to a local pavilion for a report of three individuals fighting shortly before sundown. When officers arrived at the park that is home to the pavilion, though, they only found people milling about. After speaking to a few people, it turned out that the fight was an argument over pizza.

A Washington state resident asked for police help in putting an end to the string of threatening calls and photos he was receiving from a woman in the Flathead Valley. Officers made contact with the local woman and explained the laws around privacy in communications to her. The woman admitted to sending the messages and agreed to stop.

Someone took a knife to a local man’s inflatable snowman.

A woman contacted authorities after a man left a card on her door. She told police that the man was stalking her and she had reported the harassment previously.

A local man’s parking job apparently got under the skin of his neighbor. He told police that she had a longstanding issue with his parking on a public street. When he started parking in the lot of a nearby church, she allegedly called the house of worship and threatened to sue them if they continued to let him park there. Officers deemed the issue non-criminal and counseled the man.

The manager of a business asked for extra patrols after several suspicious people arrived at his location. The manager told officers that these same individuals usually enter the business when they try to close up for the night.

A group of children playing with a deactivated cell phone accidentally called 911.

Officers advised a woman who worried she was scammed and someone had taken her personal information. After checking that no money or property had changed hands and that no account or credit card numbers were given up, authorities recommended she contact IC3.gov and file a complaint. They directed her as well to call back immediately if she noticed suspicious activity on her accounts.

An employee of a local store asked for officers to approach a man acting weird inside the shop. When the worker previously asked if the man needed any help, he just said that he has money problems. The man “got the memo when law enforcement arrived,” responding officers noted.

A thief broke into a vehicle overnight and stole a pistol. The victim was able to give authorities the serial number.
