Stockman Bank holds ground breaking ceremony

Stockman Bank will hold a special ground breaking ceremony at 4 p.m. on April 4 for its new full-service bank building on the corner of 13th Street and U.S. Highway 93 in Whitefish.

Construction will commence on the new state-of-the-art banking facility that will include a 24-hour ATM, night depository and multi-lane drive up, along with covered bicycle parking. The targeted completion is late spring 2023.

Government Affairs Committee talks liquor licenses

The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs committee will meet from noon to 1 p.m. on April 4.

John Iverson with the Montana Tavern Association will give an update and discuss liquor licenses.

Chris Eyler from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will also give a high level overview of what's happening in D.C.

Chamber hosts growth summit

The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Growth Summit covering development in Kalispell from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on April 5 at the Hilton Garden Inn.

2022 marks the second annual Growth Summit for the city of Kalispell.

Topics include “growth and momentum across the Flathead,” “marketing downtown Kalispell,” “public safety’s role in smart growth,” and a continued conversation about “attainable housing.”

Presenters will include leaders from Columbia Falls, Whitefish, Kalispell and Flathead County, as well as public safety officers, business owners, and property managers.

John Ghekiere, Vice President of ClassOne Technology and chair of the chamber’s manufacturing alliance, will give the keynote address on the topic “making a livable Flathead.”
