Head downtown Friday for Kalispell’s Art Walk & Holiday Stroll

The Kalispell Downtown Association starts your holiday season with the annual Downtown Kalispell Art Walk & Holiday Stroll from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3. Support local shops, eateries, breweries and wineries, and enter to win one of several $100 gift certificates. Pick up your walking card the evening of the event at any participating business.

There will also be music and something to eat and drink at some locations.

The Hockaday Museum of Art will offer free admission and extended hours Friday evening.. Enjoy cookies, hot apple cider and hot chocolate, and a free hands-on family art activity.

‘A Touch of Christmas’ concert is Saturday

The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre presents “A Touch Of Christmas – Brach Thomson & Friends” in concert, Saturday, Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m. at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts after the Bigfork Holiday Parade. Hot cocoa, peppermint schnapps and hot buttered rums will be available.

The fundraising concert benefits the Bigfork Playhouse Children's Theatre.

Thomson will play rock, fusion, jazz, funk, blues and more to familiar Christmas favorites on multiple keyboards, synthesizers and piano. All music is arranged by Thomson.

Special guests include Karen Jean Olds, Vocal Vertigo, 5 & Holding, and BPCT Choirs.

Admission is $9. The show is holiday fun for the entire family.
