Woman insists broken TV is emergency

A woman called 911 to report that her TV didn’t work and she couldn’t reach the front desk and hung up. When dispatchers called her back to find out if there was a life-threatening emergency, she reportedly screamed that her TV not working was an emergency and hung up. She was advised that calling 911 for a broken TV was not in her best interest.

Kalispell Police Department received a report that a tall man with a shopping cart was allegedly spitting on the ground and toward customers in a parking lot off U.S. 93. The person calling in the report thought the man had a large hatchet on him.

A parent reportedly was blocking a high school roundabout with a white minivan.

Someone allegedly saw a man in a vehicle hit and choke a woman in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant.

A group of anti-mask protesters reportedly tried to get into a building where a volleyball game was going on.

A North Meridian Road employee thought two men may be casing a business because they kept coming and going from the store and sitting in the parking lot for an hour and a half. She was then afraid to walk to her car after locking up the store because they had asked her personal questions about her dating history.

A man told officers he loaned his car to a friend to buy cigarettes and she didn’t return.

A bleeding man allegedly was beaten up on East Idaho Street. He thought the suspect possibly had a gun because he heard someone say “shoot him,” as he ran away.
