June was one of rainiest on record

Last month was the seventh wettest June on record in the Flathead Valley, according to statistics from the National Weather Service in Missoula.
The weather station at Glacier Park International Airport received 4.40 inches of rain in June, which is 1.84 inches above average.
The wettest June on record was in 2012 when 6.2 inches of rain was recorded.
Temperatures were about normal for the month with an average reading of 58.6 degrees. The hottest day was June 26 when it hit 85.
This weekend’s weather is expected to be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70s. A chance of showers return to the forecast beginning Tuesday, with below normal temperatures likely.
