The Kalispell Lakers managed just three hits but made them count in a 4-3 win and the completion of a doubleheader sweep of Great Falls in AA Legion baseball Wednesday night.

Ben Corriveau had one of the hits but was on base all three times and stole three bases and scored three runs for the Lakers (16-8, 6-5 in league), who edged the Chargers 5-4 in eight innings Wednesday’s first game.

Ethan Diede’s RBI single gave the Lakers a 1-0 lead in the first, and he scored on Jack Corriveau’s sacrifice fly.

Ben Corriveau walked and scored in the third for a 3-1 lead and singled and scored on Conner Drish’s sac fly in the fifth to make it 4-2.

Kostya Hoffman got the win on the mound, scattering seven hits and a walk in five innings. He struck out three.

Drish picked up the save, though he found some trouble in the seventh, giving up two singles and a bases-loaded walk. Then he induced a game-ending double-play grounder to Halland at second to end the game.
