LIBBY — Micah Germany’s line-drive single up the middle with one out scored Alex Cislo from second base in the ninth inning as Libby pulled out a 9-8 victory over the Moscow, Idaho, Blue Devils on Thursday at the Big Bucks Tournament.

Cislo walked to lead off the inning.

Cislo homered in the seventh inning to tie it at 8-all with a solo shot to right field that bounced off the apartment complex across the street.

“He got a hold of it,” Libby coach Kelly Morford said.

“It’s 284 down the line, but it (home run) was probably 375 (feet).”

It was Cislo’s fifth homer of the season.

In other first-day tournament action, Mission Valley’s Mariners beat the Tri-County Cardinals 14-2 and Rainier Baseball 7-4.

American Legion baseball tournament action continues today (schedule on B2).
