No charges in clock-throwing incident

The Kalispell Police Department received a call from a woman on South Meridian Road who said her ex-boyfriend threw a clock through the window of her home. She also admitted to slapping him and breaking his glasses. Neither wanted to pursue charges.

Theft was reported on Liberty Street where a woman said she let a friend stay the night with her. When she woke up, the woman said her friend was gone and she was missing a Playstation, a firearm and a house key.

A woman at a bar on Woodland Park Drive reported that a woman who has a protection order against her was writing “awful things” on a bathroom wall.

Criminal mischief was reported on South Main Street where a caller said someone drew a large smiley face on a door with permanent marker.

A bag of marijuana was found in a hotel room by a housekeeper on East Idaho Street.

A possible sexual assault was reported by a caller on Second Avenue West.

Someone stole a bicycle on U.S. 93 South.

A pistol was stolen from a vehicle parked at a business on Hutton Ranch Road.

An officer spoke with a man and woman seen panhandling near a  business on Hutton Ranch Road. Another person seen asking for money near Third Avenue East North was asked to move along.

A duplex on Bismark Street was briefly evacuated at about 2 a.m. Thursday morning when someone reported smelling wires burning. There was no fire.

At a medical facility on Sunny View Lane, a woman reported that nurses had stolen her morphine. It turned out that the patient was hallucinating while on medication.

Dogs were seen chasing llamas on West Wyoming Street.

A woman on Fourth Avenue West said she was assaulted by a man. She thought she had a broken nose, but refused medical attention.

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a man for partner/family member assault after a woman on Electric Avenue said he held her down and tried to suffocate her at about 1:45 a.m. Thursday.

The drivers of two Corvettes were accused of reckless driving on North Meridian Road.

A woman on Montana 82 in Bigfork said her husband got angry and threw a plate across the kitchen.

A caller on Bernard Road reported a theft after a neighbor used his recycling bins. The neighbor was warned.

Water was reportedly flowing across Thompson River Road due to flooding Wednesday afternoon.

A bicycle was stolen from a school on West Evergreen Drive.

Two rings were reported stolen from a home on Bald Rock Road.

A woman on Fourth Avenue West North in Columbia Falls wanted deputies to talk to her husband after he allegedly pushed her to the ground.

Two skateboards were stolen from a garage on Lake Hills Drive in Bigfork.
