Ker, Lorang, Sorensen push Vikes past Dogs

ST. IGNATIUS - Bigfork had three players in double-figure scoring, and for the first time this season finished with more assists (18) than turnovers (13) in basketball game by beating St. Ignatius 63-33 on Tuesday in a District 7B boys contest.

Christian Ker led both teams in scoring with 22 points. He also shared the team-high in blocks with Jackson Boese, three each, and led with eight rebounds.

Boese had seven boards.

Bigfork had nine blocks in the game.

Ian Lorang led Bigfork in assists with five. He scored 10 points.

Carter Sorensen had 11 points for Bigfork.

EUREKA - Kelly May scored 17 points, including three 3-pointers, as the Libby Loggers defeated Eureka in a nonconference contest.

"Libby just came out and played pretty well," said Eureka coach Chad Dunn.

"We had a little trouble breaking their press," he said.

The Lions, 3-8 overall, head to St. Ignatius on Friday.

Josh LeGassey scored seven of his game-high 15 points in the opening quarter and Stillwater rolled from there for a 21-point nonconference victory at SCS.

Stillwater (15-2) led 21-7 after the first period and 32-16 at the half.

Trent Burton added 10 points, five assists and four steals for SCS.

Mallery Knoll led the way with 13 points and Caitlin Charlebois followed with 12.
