Spilled mail load included local utility bills
Mail that spilled from a tractor-trailer on Sunday involved a tray of approximately 475 bills from Flathead Electric Cooperative.
It is unknown how many bills actually were lost when the back door of the trailer came unlatched, so the co-op is reissuing all of the bills contained on the spilled tray, according to a news release from Flathead Electric.
Bills may be delivered late and electricity customers potentially could receive both the original bill and a new bill marked “duplicate.” Only one of the bills needs to be paid.
Anyone concerned about delinquent payments as a result of this mail delay should call Flathead Electric at 751-4483.
