Stray bullet bursts water pipe

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Patrick Creek Road where a homeowner said a bullet came through a kitchen window and struck a water pipe, causing it to burst.

Deputies found a bullet on the floor. It was determined an accident after deputies learned the shot originated from a nearby shooting range. The homeowner asked that a sign be erected to direct shooters away from his property.

Someone on Helena Flats Road accused a neighbor of poisoning dogs and cats.

A woman on West Cottonwood Drive thought her mail was being stolen, but later learned it was being routed to an incorrect address.

A woman went to the sheriff’s office on South Main Street to accuse a former business partner of child abuse.

On Willow Glen Drive, a man requested a welfare check on a woman he had not heard from since Thanksgiving. Officers learned she had moved.

The driver of a gold Pontiac on U.S. 93 South was accused of driving erratically and making obscene gestures.

Theft was alleged on Tamarack Lane where a man said a woman stole his property.

A physical disturbance was reported on Montana 35 outside Kalispell where deputies found a man and a woman arguing. They were counseled.

On Foys Lake Road, a man said his intoxicated wife hit his daughter.

A Minnesota woman reported that her teenage son, a runaway, was in the Flathead Valley.

A Kalispell Police Department officer asked an allegedly intoxicated man to leave a medical facility on Sunny View Lane after an employee reported he was refusing to let family members in to see a patient described as the man’s “significant other.”

A vehicle sideswiped a telephone pole on Fourth Avenue West.

Someone on South Main Street reported seeing someone exchange money for drugs.

A man on Fourth Avenue East filed a complaint after reporting his female roommate had assaulted him.

A man on North Meridian Road said his wife hit him and took his keys.

On Seventh Avenue East, a woman found a threatening note on her garage door.

Three bottles of “expensive” alcohol were stolen during an apparent burglary on North Meridian Road.

Theft was alleged on Third Avenue East North where someone was accused of failing to return rented equipment.

Two bicycles were reported stolen on First Avenue East.

Montana Highway Patrol troopers responded to a hit-and-run collision on Sendero Drive near the intersection of Valley Drive.

Injuries were reported after a collision on U.S. 2 near the intersection of Terry Road.
