McGregor Lake homes burglarized

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got reports Sunday about burglaries to residences on McGregor Lake, where there are a significant number of summer homes. In one case, a cabin was broken into but it was unclear if anything was taken.  In another case, a home was broken into and electronics were stolen.

Horses were loose on Columbia Falls Stage Road, with one horse being caught in wire before it was freed and rounded up with the other horses.

Two business buildings were vandalized with graffiti on U.S. 2 East in Evergreen.

There was a report of a horse temporarily stuck in a fence off Lower Valley Drive.

Someone calling from the Hungry Horse area was nearly run off a road and then  tailgated by someone with a case of road rage.

A Ridgewood Drive resident reported that items had been stolen from the home.

A woman who works night shifts called to complain about a neighbor who repeatedly parks under her window, apparently causing loss of sleep, despite being asked not to. A deputy asked the neighbor to cooperate.

Responding to a domestic disturbance at a residence on Martin Camp Road, deputies ended up arresting a man, 38, for partner-family member assault.

Early Monday, shortly after midnight, a man called from a Conrad Drive address to report that he hit his wife and should go to jail. It was unclear if there was an arrest.

Kalispell Police got a report early Monday regarding a wallet that was stolen at a store in Hutton Ranch Plaza, with the reporting identifying two girls who were still in the store as suspects. A responding officer made contact with the girls, ended up arresting them, and notified the reporting party that the money was available to be picked up at the police station.

There was a disturbance report from the 200 block of Camp Crook Avenue, with the reporting party saying he was being hurt by another teenage boy, who was eventually arrested and taken to juvenile detention.

Sunday, a man turned himself in at the police station on a warrant for violating the terms of a suspended sentence. He was hauled off to the county jail.

A person reported being harassed by people in a black sports utility vehicle at a parking lot on the 50 block of First Avenue East North.
