At 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, the Geographic Information System department on the third floor of the main Courthouse will move to the second floor of the Earl Bennett Building; GIS will set up its operation in temporary quarters starting at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11.

Following the same 4 p.m. tear down and 5:30 a.m. set up the next day, the plat room will relocate on Jan. 13-14 to the third floor of Earl Bennett Building. Also relocating temporarily to the third floor will be the Clerk and Recorder’s Office on Jan. 19-20, and the Election Department on Jan. 24-25.

The Finance and Human Resource departments will relocate to the lower level of the East Annex building, with the Finance Department moving Jan. 27-28 and Human Resource Department on Jan. 31-Feb. 1.

Family Court Services, which was relocated last year during the renovation of the Blue Building (now called Courthouse West), has been operating in the lower level of  the East Annex, but will move to its permanent quarters at Courthouse West today and Wednesday.

The county plans to give a historic overview of the main courthouse and post progress reports of the renovation on its website, www.flathead.mt.gov.
