Woman finally stops for police, gets arrested

Kalispell Police Department officers arrested a woman after a pursuit that began on First Avenue West and ended on Sixth Street West. The woman, who was driving a blue Dodge pickup, initially refused to stop her vehicle.

One man was taken into custody after a report that five men were beating on another man at a business on U.S. 93 South.

Officers took a man to jail for disorderly conduct after he allegedly yelled at other tenants and was unruly at an apartment building on First Avenue West. He was examined at Kalispell Regional Medical Center because of a high blood-alcohol level.

A girl was cited and released for theft after allegedly shoplifting at a business on North Main Street.

Two people argued over who had the right to be at a home on Eighth Street West.

A man was arrested on a warrant after a report of suspicious circumstances at a business on West Idaho Street.

An officer asked an arguing mother and daughter to quiet down in an apartment on U.S. 93 South.

A 15-year-old girl in the Kalispell Medical Center emergency room reported that she was sexually assaulted. An investigation is under way.

Several drunk people were seen lighting fireworks on 10th Avenue West. An officer took fireworks from a group of juveniles on Sixth Avenue West and handed them over to their parents.

Another group of juveniles were picked up by their parents after they were seen running from a business on East Idaho Street, which prompted a report of suspicious activity.

Possible underage drinking was reported on Teal Drive and Ninth Avenue West.

On North Main Street, a man reported that someone he had a relationship with stole all of his belongings from a van and fled.

A man who was arrested after allegedly burglarizing a home on Appleway Drive had warrants from the Columbia Falls Police Department, Montana Highway Patrol and the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.

A vehicle reported stolen on Rosewood Drive was later found near U.S. 93 South.

On Fifth Avenue West, a man accused of partner/family member assault initially refused to answer the door of his home even though officers could see him inside on a couch. He was later arrested.

Officers were unable to locate a vehicle seen driving in the wrong lane at a high rate of speed on U.S. 93 North.

A couple was separated on Fourth Avenue West after a woman apparently broke her phone and “threw something in a marijuana bubbler.” The husband claimed he didn’t know why she was mad.

A report of assault was made by a woman on Zimmerman Road who said her son was attacked by his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend.
