WHITEFISH - Brian Sneck went 4-for-5 to lead the Kalispell Lakers to a 13-7 American Legion Class AA baseball victory Saturday over the Glacier Twins.

Kalispell collected 17 hits against three Glaicer hurlers in the Western AA matchup.

Derek Keller, Ben Sansaver, Tyler Reichhoff, Zach Brosten and Jacob Scott had two hits apiece for Kalispell.

Sansaver and Scott both doubled and tripled.

Glacier's Brad Neilsen turned in three innings of strong relief duty. He struck out three and gave up three hits.

"They hit the ball really, really well," Twins coach Ryan Hadfield said.

"We made some mistake pitches into the strike zone and they hit them very hard."

Hadfield said two Lakers turned in spectacular defensive plays to thwart Glacier scoring.

Keller had one in center field in the first inning and Sansaver, at second, made a diving catch with the bases loaded and two outs.

The Twin had eight hits with four players hitting doubles - Zane Ridings, Scott Yogodzinski, Ryan Caron and Adam Pisk.

Glacier, winless in Western AA play, has a nonconference makeup game Monday, 6 p.m., hosting Libby. The Twins return to league action Wednesday, 2 p.m., entertaining the Lethbridge Spitz Elks.

Kalispell, 10-9 in league and 28-23 overall, hosts Lethbridge for a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
