Flathead County Sheriff's Office arrested a man after chasing him around Montana 83 Tuesday afternoon.

A witness saw a bloody woman fall or jump from Kefra Taylor's vehicle near the intersection of Montana 83 and Montana 35. Taylor, 28, reportedly left his truck on Montana 83 and ran into a nearby pond, where he was arrested. He was jailed on charges of family member assault and probation violation.

Officers counseled a mother about what to do with a 14-year-old daughter who is keeping company with older friends. A daughter was counseled when she called to say her parents had kicked her out of the house.

A deputy also counseled neighbors on El Rancho Road, where peacocks and chickens from one home aren't mixing well with a dog from another home.

An injured elk near McGregor Lake became a gift to the Marion Food Bank. A cow attempted a getaway on Church Drive, but was captured.

A bow was stolen from a vehicle in Evergreen.

A game warden was called about a bear in a tree on McMannamy Draw.

Yelling and screaming on Mountain Drive in Hungry Horse subsided on its own Monday night. Footsteps were heard outside of a home on Harmony Road at about 12:30 a.m. It was at about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday that someone shot out a light in the alley between Elk Trail and Deer Trail.

On Penny Lane, there used to be a street sign.

There was a complaint about a person in a brown Ford Ranger shooting at a skunk on Montana 206.

A table saw was stolen from Hollow Lane. A purse was stolen from McDermott Lane Sunday and now someone is using a debit card that was in it.

She was too upset to report it at the time, but a resident in Marion said that Monday night, some trespassers on a four-wheeler yelled at her.
