Libby hosts Hardin in quarterfinals

It proved to be a tough weekend for Northwestern A football teams in the first-round of the postseason on Saturday.

No. 5 ranked Polson was upset by Anaconda 28-27 while Frenchtown crushed Whitefish 42-14.

No. 2 ranked Libby, the Northwestern A regular-season champion, had a first-round bye.

Libby (8-0) will host Hardin (7-2) on Saturday.

Hardin advanced with a 35-14 victory on Saturday over Belgrade. Hardin quarterback Josh Link threw five touchdown passes in the game.
