Four teenagers were arrested on suspicion of drug offenses Sunday night after gunshots were reported at a home on Flathead Drive. No one was hurt.

The incident was first thought to be a drive-by shooting, according to Flathead County Sheriff's Office patrol Cmdr. Pete Wingert.

Details were "sketchy," he said, but it appeared that two men were arguing about a gun inside the house and it went off. Two people were seen leaving in a car, and two left on foot, Wingert said.

Deputies found a bullet hole in a windowsill at the house, he said. They broadcast a description of the white car described by witnesses.

The Kalispell Police Department located the vehicle, which belongs to Shawn Christensen, 19, on Teal Drive after a tip from a concerned resident.

Officers from the Police Department, the Sheriff's Office, and the Northwest Drug Task Force investigated.

Those arrested were Shawn Beauregard, 19, Jason Goff, 18, Christensen, and Jacquelyn Cooper, 18, all of Kalispell. They were arrested on suspicion of felony possession of drugs. More arrests are expected.

Kalispell police Chief Frank Garner said a search of the vehicle and the basement of the home on Teal Drive turned up six sugar cubes laced with LSD, 3 grams of cocaine, a small amount of methamphetamine, two handguns, and some money.

Garner said Christensen also faces theft charges in connection with some diamond rings stolen from Stuart Jewelers in Whitefish.

Detective Scott Warnell of the Kalispell Police Department said Monday he doesn't believe the weapon that was discharged inside the Flathead Drive home has been recovered.

The case still is under investigation, Warnell said.
