BUTTE - One bad quarter turned out to be Flathead's downfall Saturday during loser-out action at the Class AA state girls basketball tournament.

The Bravettes took an early 13-7 lead on Great Falls, but were outscored 21-9 in the second quarter to trail 28-22 at the half.

Flathead (17-7) battled back in the third period, trailing by two just points, 39-37, going into the final eight minutes of play.

Great Falls (15-9) finished off the contest with a 20-point final quarter to secure a 59-50 victory.

Senior Holli Hashley, in her final game with FHS, finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Meghan O'Connell added 16 points for the Bravettes.

Gina Schermele led Great Falls with 15.
