The Flathead County Sheriff's Office dispatched Flathead Search and Rescue
on Wednesday night to find a missing woodcutter. The 68-year-old man had left at noon and had not returned by 9:30 p.m. He was found in the Sylvia Lake area where his return had been thwarted by a flat tire.
Someone found what appeared to be a pipe bomb in a shed on Caroline Road.
Disturbances were reported on Montana 35 and Sunny Lane. A dispute between neighbors on Big Mountain Road grew cattier Wednesday when one resident dumped a litter box over a balcony. Another neighbor dispute, on Elk Trail, involved a slingshot and a BB.
A barking, cat-harassing dog was reported on Farm to Market Road.
A woman in the Blue Moon area was unnerved by the small talk made by a man who liked her horse.
It was at about 2 a.m. when an older man jumped into traffic on U.S. in Hungry Horse. A deputy found a man passed out by a light pole. He was arrested.
Two youths were seen trying to break into vehicles on East Evergreen Drive at 3 a.m. Thursday.
