Gladys Lynn Redfield, 61

Gladys Lynn Redfield, 61, passed away July 7, 2006, at her home In Kalispell. She was born in Billings on Dec. 20, 1944, the oldest child of Peck and Vi Rodgers. She attended elementary schools in a number of locations and attended high school at and graduated from Columbus High School in 1963, salutatorian of her class.

She graduated with a degree in secondary education from Eastern Montana College in 1967.

On July 22, 1967, she married Larry Redfield. They welcomed their only child, Stewart Hector, in July 1971.

Lynn was the director of the Conrad Mansion Museum in Kalispell for many years and served on a number of committees involved with history and the arts. Lynn was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend who was always ready to help those in need. She had a lifelong love of history and was a talented craftsman.

In lieu of flowers, Lynn would be pleased if any memorial donations were made to the Conrad Mansion.

Lynn is survived by her husband, Larry, of Kalispell; her son, Stewart, and wife, Shannon, of Atlanta; sisters, Pam, Pat and Cindy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 13, in the gardens at the Conrad Mansion. A reception will be afterward at Lynn and Larry's home.
