| February 18, 2006 1:00 AM

A man and a woman with sleeping bags caused concern by trying to jump on a train near Essex, according to a report from the Flathead County Sheriff's Office.

A couple on Shady Lane decided to separate for the night, after their disturbance prompted a visit from a deputy.

From a condo on Big Mountain came a report Friday morning that a man broke in and urinated in the refrigerator.

Several vehicles were broken into on Lore Lake Road.

A man was arrested for partner assault on Browns Meadow Road, where a woman said he knocked out her teeth. Disturbances were also reported on Peck Street in Columbia Heights, on Caroline Road where a man reportedly threatened to burn down a home, and near Olney where a dispute between a 13-year-old girl and her grandfather became physical; he was taken by ambulance to the hospital and she was taken to the juvenile detention center.

A report of stalking is under investigation.

A man reported his ex-wife has been taking checks from his storage unit and cashing them.
