A woman on Wildebeest Lane reported theft of her cell-phone minutes and an out-of-state call from someone she doesn't know. Her cell-phone company said it is not possible to use minutes without the phone itself.

Among the disputes that people reported were a mother and daughter at odds on Harmony Road, someone who allegedly stole keys while a woman was preoccupied with doing her laundry, threats at the El Rancho Motel, a friend who comes into a man's home uninvited on Beach Road, a daughter who allegedly stole her mother's credit cards and cash, and cats and dogs who didn't get along on Farm to Market Road.

A burglar alarm was activated by a robotic vacuum at work in a Stageline Drive home.

Drama continued between estranged roommates on Airport Road after a variety of complaints Wednesday. On Thursday, one of the women called to say the other trashed the house when she moved out. A deputy found the home was not disrupted, but some property had been left in the driveway.

An agitated man in flowered pants was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.

Gas was taken from a vehicle on River Butte Drive. A man said his wife took their children out of school and left with $5,000.

A deputy investigated when a woman took a call from a boy who said he was home alone. His mother was present, and the 6-year-old boy was just trying to call his girlfriend.
