Flathead girls, Bigfork boys notch basketball victories

LIBBY - Flathead overcame a slow start to down Libby 63-35 Tuesday in nonconference girls basketball play.
The Bravettes, 10-4 overall, trailed 11-8 after eight minutes, but roared back to take a 21-14 lead at the half.
Chaeney Latimer tallied a season high 15 points, while Holli Hashley led the team in scoring with 16.
Hashley also had eight rebounds as FHS controlled the boards, 31-24.
Latimer had three treys in the contest.
Teri Rebo tossed in 16 points for Libby, now 7-9. Sam Schultz added 11.
Flathead plays at Missoula Hellgate on Thursday.

BIGFORK - A 27-point fourth quarter helped Bigfork rally past Ronan Tuesday in boys Northwestern A conference play.
Bigfork, 4-3 and 6-9, trailed 28-14 at the half.
Robert Walters scored 23 points to pace Bigfork's comeback. Trevor Thurman finished with 17 and Nathan Roessmann 10.
Cameron Barber had 23 for Ronan, 0-8 and 0-15.
