The Flathead County Sheriff's Office identified on Monday a man who was arrested on suspicion of rape Saturday. James Heitman, 43, is charged with three sex offenses, allegedly involving a young girl.

There were numerous reports of unsafe shooting. Among them was a complaint on Montana 206, where people shot at defenseless bottles. On Blacktail Road, a resident said months' worth of unsafe shooting has left holes in vehicles, a barn and a dog. An irrigation pump was shot and fertilizer tanks were damaged at another location.

There were also multiple reports of vehicles parked where they don't belong. One, a trailer left in Columbia Heights, turned out to be stolen. Another, parked on Smalls Lane, involved a couple engaged in an activity best kept less public.

A tool van was broken into on Holt Stage Road.

Prescription drugs were taken from a vehicle on North Hilltop. A miter saw was stolen on Big Mountain.

On Sharon Road, a resident complained about a boy exposing himself.
