Audie O. 'Jr.” Hood, 48

Audie O. "Jr." Hood, 48, passed away April 9, 2006, at his Kila home.

Jr. was born in Shelby, on Oct. 26, 1957, to Luci Sorkness and Audie Hood. He attended school in Harlem.

Jr. was a logger by trade and a musician at heart. He loved to laugh and make those around him laugh.

He was quite the joke teller.

He married Rhonda Guy in 1993 at Woodland Park in Kalispell.

Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, D.J. Hood.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Rhonda of Kila; sons, Keith Hood of Colorado, and Christopher Hood of Montana; brothers and sisters, Reba Freese of Colorado, Robin Holt of Kalispell, Audrey Sorkness and Tom Sorkness, both of Kalispell; grandchildren, Korey and Mariah Hood and Ashton.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Diabetes Foundation, Montana Affiliate, P.O. Box 2411, Great Falls, MT 59403.

Memorial services for Jr. will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Buffalo Bill Funeral Home.
