Flathead stayed perfect on the pitch Thursday evening, downing Glacier 4-1 in the first boys crosstown soccer match of the season at Legends Stadium.

Flathead (4-0 overall, 2-0 league) jumped on top 2-0 with back-to-back goals two-minutes apart by Colter Goss and AJ Apple.

“We won the second half, made some nice adjustments. We felt really good with how we responded in the second half.”

Glacier (1-2, 0-1) is back in action Saturday at Missoula Big Sky. Flathead is off until Sept. 7 when it plays at Helena High.
