BNSF train derails in Cut Bank

A BNSF Railway train hauling grain derailed near Cut Bank on Thursday afternoon.

According to a railroad spokesman, 12 cars were derailed at abou at 2:23 p.m. There were no injuries or hazardous materials associated with the derailment.

The cause of the incident is under investigation and there is currently no estimated time for re-opening the main line.
