A caller reported to the Kalispell Police Department two teenagers with a dog who were getting “frisky” in the park. They were laying under a tree and skin had been exposed. An officer soon put a stop to the shenanigans.

A caller reported that a man had stolen his gym bag after he stopped to ask for directions. He was described as having a bowl cut and crooked teeth. He was wearing camo pants and a black hoodie. The caller said there was nothing of importance in the bag and he didn’t want to pursue charges.

Someone reported that a person cut his protruding shrubs back and he thought it was strange.

A woman called to report her son and another African-American boy were harassed at the bus stop by a neighbor. She said she had filed for a temporary restraining order against him, but missed the court hearing because she had emergency surgery. The woman said she wanted it logged when she spoke to an officer.

A woman’s repeated failure to control her barking dogs late at night may result in charges against her. A neighbor reported that the dogs had barked until midnight. An officer said there had been numerous occasions when the dogs were reported barking.

Several dogs made it out of home quarantine and were cleared to resume their regular activities.

A man with the parks department called about a person using a metal detector who was digging up the city boulevard. When police spoke to the digger, he agreed to stay in his friend’s yard for his metal searches.

A man called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report a man who had left his truck parked in the road and was urinating. When the caller stopped to check, the man seemed drunk and was also cursing.

A caller reported hearing two gunshots near his home. When an officer arrived, he spoke to a man who said he fired two rounds from his 9mm semiautomatic outside his residence because he was frustrated. He was told to find another place to fire his gun in the future.
