Police called over emissions threats

The Whitefish Police Department received a report that someone was harassing parents when dropping their kids off at a school, and kept “threatening to call the cops about emissions.” Two females were counseled on their behavior.

A dog was reportedly running in and disrupting traffic. Officers caught it and took it to the station.

As a caller drove through an alley, a male allegedly “kicked her car and yelled at her to slow down.”

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office was told there was a “male out walking briskly with bottoms but no shirt.”

A vehicle reportedly blocking a driveway was towed.

The Kalispell Police Department responded to reported hit-and-runs on Sunny View Lane and 11th Street West.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department investigated smoke reported on Ninth Street West.

The Whitefish Fire Department investigated smoke reported on U.S. 93 South.

The West Valley Fire Department responded to reports of gas odors on U.S. 93 North in Kalispell.

The Bigfork Fire Department responded to reports of gas odors on Ferndale Drive.
