Sit right back and take a virtual tour of Glacier

Glacier National Park interpretive specialist Bill Hayden on the shore of Lake McDonald on Thursday. Hayden is displaying an official Glacier National Park Podcast of a grizzly bear digging up a ground squirrel at Oldman Lake in the park. The grizzly Podcast is one of three downloadable Podcast movies from the Glacier Web site. These virtual field trips with their mix of animation and video, story lines and scientific facts are just one of the ways national parks are seeking to capture the public’s attention — and prove themselves relevant in the fast-paced 21st century.
