Writers Conference will showcase Montana authors

Five award-winning Montana authors will be featured at the 27th annual Flathead River Writers Conference, to be held Sept. 23-24 at Flathead Valley Community College in Kalispell.

Speakers this year include Susan Adrian, young adult science fiction; Larry Martin, action-adventure and Westerns; Christine Carbo, mystery; Jess Owen, young adult fantasy; and Kathy Dunnehoff, romantic comedy and screenwriting.

Literary agents Cindy Uh, Thompson Literary Agency and Kate Testerman, KT Literary, will discuss publishing trends and how to gain the attention of agents and editors.
