Four Polson wrestlers place at LeProwse

BOZEMAN — Bridger Wenzel finished fourth for Polson at the Tom LeProwse Invitational wrestling tournament on Saturday.

Wenzel, who pinned his first two foes on Friday, lost in the semifinals to Cam Hegel of Missoula Sentinel 9-7.

Caleb James of Bozeman then decisioned Wenzel 12-5 in the third-place match at 132 pounds.

Polson’s Parker Adler was fifth at 138. Hunter Fritsch at 160 and Noah Humphrey at 182 were both six.

Polson, with 80 points, finished 11th.

Bozeman, 198, took team honors with Billings Skyview, 163 1/2, second.
