CUT BANK — Eureka finished a strong second behind Havre on Saturday at the Cut Bank Tournament.

Eureka’s wrestlers finished the two-day event with a 221 team score. Havre wound up with a winning total of 239. Libby, 116 1/2, was fifth.

Eureka, which had five wrestlers in the championship round, had one individual winner — Garrett Graves at 182. He pinned teammate Austyn Sherwood in the final in 2:21.

Also placing second for the Lions were Cannan Smith (152), Colby Hammack (170) and Kaelan Yanak (heavyweight).

Libby’s Buddy Doolin was the 103-pound champion, decisioning Tanner Cook of Shepherd in the final 3-1.

Placing third were Eureka’s Nathan Schmidt (113), Kahden Bakkila (120), Jonathan Schmidt (138) and Joe Fehr (205). Libby’s Trey Thompson (126), Whitefish’s Dakota Flannery (132) and Travis Catina (205) and Eureka’s Levi Garcia (160) were all fourth.
