Drunk bicyclist runs into police cruiser

A Kalispell Police Department officer made an easy arrest after an extremely drunk man intentionally ran into the officer’s cruiser with his bicycle. The man was found to be wearing an alcohol monitoring bracelet. He was arrested on preliminary charges of contempt, obstructing justice, and criminal mischief.

An officer was unable to find any indication that a group of three people had been smoking marijuana after someone reported they had been passing a bong around while sitting on the front steps of a Ninth Avenue West home. They told the officer they had been smoking cigarettes.

A concerned neighbor reported a 1-year-old child repeatedly being shut out of his Windward Way home.

A woman asked to speak with an officer about posting flyers offering a reward for the capture of a fugitive.

A motorist struck a child on a bicycle on 12th Street West, but the child was uninjured and rode away.

Someone threw a rock through the window of a vehicle on Sunset Boulevard.

Someone slashed two tires on a vehicle on North Meridian Road.

Someone slashed the tires of a vehicle on North Cedar Drive.

Someone tampered with a window on a Second Avenue East home.

A concerned Tumblehome Avenue parent contacted the Whitefish Police Department after noticing his neighbor’s house was covered with “CSI-style” crime scene tape and that his children had to walk past the area.

A bartender complained about an arguing man and woman who refused to leave the Baker Avenue bar.

A Martha Road resident contacted the Columbia Falls Police Department twice about a loud party going on nearby and a fight that took place at the party later.
