The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office was drawn into a neighborhood dispute when called to a noise complaint on Gunsite Loop in Evergreen. The man was playing his radio too loud for his neighbor, but when he was approached by deputies, he said he was tired of his neighbor playing his music too loud. He told deputies he had previously been told there was no noise ordinance in effect at the property and “to buy a stereo and play music loud back at [his neighbor].” He was advised that disorderly conduct was still a criminal offense, and he agreed to turn his stereo down.
A fed-up neighbor reported residents on Parliament Drive in Evergreen for stockpiling garbage in their shed and outside that was starting to stink. The responding officer reported finding garbage all over the yard and piled up against a fence.
The friend of a 25-year-old woman taken to the emergency room for cuts, bruising and a possible broken arm reported the woman had been beaten up by her boyfriend.
A Helena Flats Road resident saw someone drive by her home in a blue Honda and try to hit her mailbox with a baseball bat.

He had recently been fired from the food court and threatened the employee so thoroughly she quit her job out of fear. The mall manager agreed to send written notification to the man that he is barred from the property.
