A man caught wandering around a college campus was reminded by officers with the Kalispell Police Department that he was banned from the property. Officers suspected he was too drunk to remember the first time they moved him along.

Seeing a man apparently training his golden retriever in an area where birds were nesting, a passerby phoned the police. They told officers they had crossed paths with the man the previous two mornings as he threw a bumper into nearby water for his dog. They also said the man yelled at the dog and hit it.

Investigating a report of a howling dog trapped in a recreational vehicle for about a day, officers found what appeared to be a friendly and healthy pup inside. Attempts to contact the owner of the vehicle were unsuccessful.

Seeing a lot of foot traffic around white Chevrolet SUV with a bad paint job, a passerby told officers they suspected the man inside was dealing drugs.

Officers intervened when a pair of evicted tenants returned to their former home with their menagerie of pets, which included cats, a dog and a reptile. The pair were turned away and the landlord agreed to arrange to have their remaining property returned to them.

Her young daughter locked in her vehicle, a mother turned to the police for help. She told officers that the vehicle was running and there were no signs of distress in the child. Authorities recommended she contact a locksmith.

A man reportedly was twirling while screaming at passing vehicles, taking occasional breaks to jump into traffic and bust a move. He was gone by the time officers arrived.

A cyclist told officers that a Rottweiler chased him into a big box retailer. Officers were unsuccessful in locating the dog’s owner.

Pizzeria employees were left with three large pies after the person who called in the order never came to retrieve the food. They suspected the original call was a prank.

A restaurant patron phoned the authorities to report a hostess they suspected was high on the job. They described her as slurring her words and, as they left, they found her slumped over while standing up. The patron offered to turn over a video they filmed of her.

Officers investigated a case of a missing package at the behest of a shipping company. A member of the firm’s security team contacted the police after a customer reported never receiving the item. But the security team had evidence that the package was delivered successfully. It was later determined that the package went to the wrong address.

Employees at a local store reported a man after noticing he was watching a young woman and later followed her out the door. They worried he was a stalker. A manager ultimately walked the young woman to her vehicle.

A woman left her dog with her sister and her sister’s boyfriend, but after the relationship failed, the boyfriend threatened to hurt the animal if they didn’t give him money. When the woman went to retrieve her animal, he allegedly threatened to hit her with a bat. Officers helped her retrieve the canine.

An older man allegedly shoplifted candy bars from a store. Employees turned surveillance video over to officers.
